A new palette
Hello, It’s been a minute since we have connected. I hope you're well and enjoying the beautiful fall weather and the rich colours of autumn. Many of my paintings are full of colour, all colours (ha-ha). In creating this piece I purposely limited my colour palette to two colours, blue and yellow. It was an interesting and new challenge for me but when I saw the colours that were blending before me on the canvas and when I began experimenting with mixing many different shades of these two beautiful colours I was mesmerized. I experienced a real sense of calm and tranquility creating this painting. What do you feel from this piece?
In Situ
Many artists use apps to place their artwork in a room setting. I use a program called ArtRooms. It's an easy way to show someone what a painting will look like in a room setting. The galleries that represent my work take it a step further and can place this painting in a photograph of a room in your home that you provide them. This has been particularly convenient during Covid. Clients can experience what the art work will look like in their own living room without ever leaving their home.
